Endeavours Falls

Waterfalls

During the wet season (Nov-March) Maggie's ephemeral creeks spring to life. Locals make the most of the waterfalls and water holes that appear in several places. Please be aware that water levels can rise very quickly in these areas during heavy rainfall.

Endeavour Falls - Arcadia

One of the most accessible and popular spots is in Peterson Creek. Enjoy the falls and swimming holes. Follow the track off the bitumen road, down the steep creek bank.

Dog Shed Falls- Cockle Bay

The track is marked by a shed on the road out to West Point. A small swimming hole and falls are only a few metres in from the road.

Gustav Creek- Nelly Bay

The upper reaches of Gustav Creek flow nicely during rainfall events. There are no dedicated swimming holes or falls, but is still a lovely spot to paddle in the fresh water.

Endeavour Creek- Horseshoe Bay

Hike up the creek line from the beach until the creek forks. Take either prong to enjoy some lovely water holes.

Huntingfield Falls - Huntingfield Bay

Accessible only by boat (or adventurous hikers), Huntingfield Bay is part of Five Bay Beach. If you are lucky enough to have a boat, you will likely have this spot to yourself due to its remote location. From the eastern end of the beach, hike up the unnamed creek to enjoy the falls.
